The ERE 132 Eco Home is an interpretive centre on green building built to provide an example of a single family dwelling that is both affordable and adapted to Quebec’s northern climate. Certified LEED Platinum, it adheres to the most stringent environmental standards and takes its inspiration from various environmental certifications for sustainable buildings. The ERE 132 Eco Home raises public awareness to illustrate that green-building is a smart and affordable option.
Through Cultiv'art educational activities, students are invited to explore the Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens on four themes: Art and History, Horticulture, Archives and Heritage, Consumption and Environmental Impacts. The proposed activities take into account the Québec Education Program: they promote learning through play, experience, manipulation and observation in the field.
Choose an activity described in the Cultiv'art document, then the date and time you prefer and an alternative date in case the first choice is no longer available.
Contact our coordinator at least three weeks before the date of your visit to book your day. As the number of days is limited, we suggest you book as soon as possible.
