THE INTERNATIONAL GARDEN FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES THE DESIGNERS FOR ITS 2012 EDITION (January 30, 2012)
The International Garden Festival is pleased to announce the names of the designers selected by the jury for the 13th edition of the Festival. Five projects were selected to be featured at the 2012 edition that will exhibit a record 25 conceptual gardens. The 13th edition of the Festival will open on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
The Reford Gardens invite citizens, environmental groups and municipalities to reserve sea lyme grass plants to stabilize the banks of the St. Lawrence next year.
Les Jardins de Métis (Reford Gardens) are preparing an ambitious program of anniversary activities and special events in 2012 to include exhibitions, concerts, garden parties, theatrical performances, lectures, circus events, culinary evenings, a festival of flavours, literary teas, musical brunches and the 13th edition of the International Garden Festival are all on the menu for 2012.
Les Jardins de Métis and Hydro-Québec are pleased to announce that the winner of the grand prize in the contest held for visitors to the Gardens is Lyse Fleurant from Rimouski - a weekend for two at the Hydro-Québec’s La Grande complex on James Bay in northern Québec, a value of $ 4,000.
The International Garden Festival is showing Algaegarden designed by Heather Ring, Brenda Parker and Synnøve Fredericks from London, England, at the IIDEX/NeoCon Show in Toronto on September 22 and 23.
The International Garden Festival, presented at the Reford Gardens in the Gaspésie region of Québec, is preparing its 13th edition and is issuing an international call for proposals to select designers who will create the new temporary gardens that will be presented from June 22 to October 7, 2012.

Reford Gardens (Les Jardins de Métis) welcome the crew from the television program Le tour du jardin who will be on site to film a one hour program for broadcast next season. Filming will take place on July 4 and July 5
The International Garden Festival is pleased to announce the designers and activities for the 12th edition to be held from June 25 to October 2, 2011 on the site of Les Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens. The 2011 Festival will feature a record 25 gardens by leading designers from the cities of New York and Berlin, and from Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Switzerland and the United States.
