Bon arbre au bon endroit
(ÊTRE AUX OISEAUX)
“Être aux oiseaux”: French-Canadian expression meaning “being in a state of joy that is close to ecstasy”. The table is an ideal meeting space where little else matters other than the guests assembling for a gourmet experience. An oversized picnic table beckons us to sit down, join the feast, start creating and exchange little secrets. Bouquets of trees stand surrounded by walls of multicoloured birds that seem to whisper. The installation highlights the pleasures of local produce while revealing some of its mysteries.
This garden is presented in collaboration with Hydro-Québec as part of The Right Tree in the Right Place program.
