Le sapin est un arbre
The aromatic “little tree”, a cliché of modern culture that embodies the symbolic of humankind’s domination on nature, has inspired Rita in the design of this playful temporary garden that reinterpretates tree-planting by using oversized “little trees”. The giantism and repetition of the object create a surrealist landscape on the historic Place de la Dauversière in Montreal.
See the web page of the garden on the Château Ramezay web site.
