Rita Stéphane Halmaï‐Voisard, Francis Rollin, Karine Corbeil
Rita is a three‐person collective from various design fields. The cohabitation of the three designers seems natural to Rita given that graphic design, industrial design and event design are interconnected. These disciplines are complimentary and inspire one another and provide different solutions in terms of form, function and communications. Rita’s projects thus have as a common characteristic the combination of different design elements. In the creative process for each project, the graphic treatment is an integral part of the form, and viceversa. Whether it is an intervention in an urban environment or the design of a common every day object, the principle of multi‐disciplinarity applies at every level and in every project. Rita thinks that this process makes for more coherent projects. It also creates a dialogue that is central to each project between the content and the container, the idea and the form, each one melding with the other.
