Angela Iarocci, Claire Ironside, David Ross
Angela Iarocci, Claire Ironside, and David K. Ross bring experience in landscape architecture, architecture, visual art, and graphic design, and have been working collaboratively and tangentially since 2001. Iarocci and Ironside, who are based in Toronto, seek to render the ordinary extraordinary by creating experiences and interactions using objects, spatial interventions, and data visualizations. These projects foster individual and collective participation centred on the multiple themes of sustainability, activism, and social engagement. Ironside is a professor at Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Applied Illustration program; Iarocci is a professor in the York University/Sheridan College Honours Bachelor of Design program. David Ross is a visual artist based in Montréal, whose photographic projects and architectural propositions interrogate the psychological and practical aspects of storage. Ross’s projects propose “solutions” that are plausible even in their fictionality, and have taken the form of art installations, architectural proposals, graphic design for print and the web, and photography.
