Atelier le balto Marc Pouzol, Véronique Faucheur et Marc Vatinel
Atelier le balto was founded in Berlin in 2001 by Marc Pouzol and Laurent Dugua; currently the team comprises Marc Pouzol, Véronique Faucheur, and Marc Vatinel, three landscape architects who work regularly in Germany, France and throughout Europe. Atelier le balto is also the co‐organizers of the Temporäre Gärten, an event that took place in Berlin from 1997 to 2003, of Sommergärten, held in Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice, Poland, in 2003, and woistdergarten? which was held on abandoned sites in Berlin (Mitte district) in 2005. Dedicated to the creation of temporary public gardens by a wide range of landscape architects, these events reflected on the place of the garden in the transformation of urban public spaces.
